Most of our rooms have broadband internet access for guests who have their own laptop. The speed is 1024 kb/s which is roughly 20 times faster than a modem.

You’ll need an ethernet port/card on your laptop. This is what you would plug the cable into at work to get on the network. The port looks like you could plug a phone line into it but it is wider, with 8 pins instead of 4.

You’ll need to have DHCP enabled. Most laptops are but if you’re not sure click on the links below for instructions. It would be advisable to print the instructions and bring them as tech support is not available.
